Dr. John J. Johnson was a Black dentist in Knoxville, Tennessee for 45 years. He passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 1951.
Born in Barnesville, Georgia in 1868, he would leave home to attend Knoxville College and Meharry Medical College in Nashville.
Dr. Johnson practiced medical partnership with Dr. H. M. Green on Knoxville's Vine Avenue for some 20 years.
