Reflections
We pause on this our special day,
To think or blessings past;
And how the Lord has cared for us,
From the First day to the last.
We asked the Lord to bless this work,
He told us that He would,
If true to Him we'd always be,
And on His precepts stood.
He's led us through some waters deep,
Some trails came our way;
Sometimes we didn't understand,
But weathered through the fray.
Oh, many are the loyal folks,
Who worked, and gave, and prayed;
And many more the loved ones gone,
Now to their rest are laid.
Today, we are an eager group,
Who help the Church to grow;
They brighten all the corners here,
And keep the light aglow.
Yes, God was in our midst back then,
He's with us yet today;
Oh, may we faithful be to Him,
And let Him lead the way.
