Various records associated with Oakland School that once operated in the Oakland Community of Knoxville, Tennessee; Personal Narratives, Educator Profiles, Newspaper Articles, Photographs and school records. The school served North Knoxville's Black students from around 1895 to 1965. It was rebuilt in 1936 by the Works Progress Administration. The building is now owned by the City of Knoxville and operates as a community center.
