Mr. Nelson Monroe Dawson, age 78, departed life Monday A.M., 10-7-85, at his home in Parrottsville, Tn. after a long illness. He was the son of the late Murphy and Dora Dawson. Born and raised in the Dawson Valley Community where he has farmed most of his life. Several years were spent working on the rail road. He was an avid foxhunter for many years and also loved to raise his gladiolus.
