The first page is a letter from the Nelson-Merry Revitalization Committee reminding the county that they have been asking for this project for many years and that their concerns have not been heard. Coverage of the Nelson-Merry Playground Rejuvenation Project is provided by the local Jefferson City paper, Standard Banner. Bryant Bales took on the project as as part of his Eagle Scout work. The project was funded in part by the 1980 Nelson Merry Reunion Committee and the Jefferson Memorial Hospital Foundation.
